Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final is set for Monday night in Edmonton

History will be made one way or the other in Monday nights Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.

The Edmonton Oilers staved off elimination by beating the Florida Panthers 4-3 in overtime of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night in Sunrise, Fla.

The Oilers are now the first team since the 1944-45 Detroit Red Wings to fall behind in the Cup Final 3-0 and force a Game 7.

The Oilers will have a chance to win their first Stanley Cup since 1990 when they host the Panthers in Game 7 on Monday night at Rogers Place.

The Panthers are looking to win their first Stanley Cup in their 26-year history.

Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final is set for 8 p.m. ET on Monday night on ABC.
